En este estudio se pretende enfocar una práctica deportiva tan extendida como es el tenis desde una nueva perspectiva. Por un lado, se analiza la estructura interna del juego, lo que lo caracteriza y delimita, lo que se ve y lo que muchas veces pasa inadvertido, pero que le confiere unas especiales características. Por otro lado, se pretende comparar las acciones que los participantes realizan en las dos modalidades de este deporte, singles y dobles, analizando, cuantificando y comparando el comportamiento estratégico del jugador en las dos modalidades. Versión en inglés This study has the intention to approach a widespread sport as tennis from a new perspective. On the one hand, it analyzes the internal structure of the game, what are its distinguishing features, as well as what is seen and what passed unnoticed, but constitute some special characteristics. On the other hand, it has the intention to compare the participants’ actions in the two types of tennis matches (singles and doubles), and to analyze, quantify and compare the player’s strategic behavior.
